Ms Corrie Jensen

Physiotherapist;

Corrie graduated in Edinburgh with a BSc Physiotherapy then worked in Scotland in private practice and NHS. Prior to working in musculoskeletal physiotherapy she spent time gaining a wealth of experience in stroke and neurological rehab, and pre and post op orthopaedics. Her background is in strength and conditioning, and she owned and ran her own gym and training facility in Scotland for over 10 years training everyone from performance athletes to older adults, as well as spending 3 seasons looking after her local rugby club. She delivers first class injury prevention programmes, loves to get involved in individualised rehabilitation and return to sport, and is a firm believer that client education and a trusting relationship are key to successful return to health and fitness. She is also qualified and skilled in hands on treatments, clinical sports massage, myofascial and trigger point release, medical acupuncture and has done further certification in nutrition for performance. She is currently undertaking ongoing education with the British Menopause Society and has a particular interest in the effects of perimenopause and menopause on joint and bone health. She recently moved to New Zealand to enjoy the Queenstown outdoor lifestyle, and in her spare time you'll likely find her hiking up or sliding down our glorious mountains, or (slowly) running or biking the trails.
