Ms Kayleigh Gouman

Ms Kayleigh Gouman

Physiotherapist

Kayleigh grew up in Christchurch before moving to Dunedin to study Physiotherapy. After graduating, she returned to Christchurch to work before heading to Canada, where she spent the past couple of years as a massage therapist in a ski town. There, she worked extensively with skiers, snowboarders, and mountain bikers, helping them recover and perform at their best. A passionate sports enthusiast and lover of the outdoors, Kayleigh is happiest when she’s skiing, mountain biking, kayaking—or doing just about anything outside. She has worked with a wide range of athletes, including rugby clubs, basketball, rowing, and cricket teams, as well as multisport competitors. Kayleigh is dedicated to helping people return to the activities they love, and to go beyond ordinary rehab by improving movement efficiency and biomechanics for long-term performance. Her approach combines evidence-based practice, manual therapy, tailored exercise prescription, and sport-specific strength and conditioning. She has completed further training in shoulder, hip, and spinal injuries and is also certified in concussion management, dry needling and pilates. Now based in Queenstown, Kayleigh loves being part of this community. When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll find her out exploring on her bike, skis, kayak, or climbing. View details »
