Dougal kicked off his career in the US, working in a wide variety of physio settings whilst going to Cubs games and visiting all 50 states.This was followed by 5 years in the UK, during which he spent 3 years running a physio clinic on the Isle of Wight with Hannah. He then came to Queenstown for a ski season and has lived and skied here ever since. Dougal became an owner of Back on Track Physiotherapy in 2005 and greatly enjoys treating the diverse range of energetic Queenstowners and their variety of injuries, specialising in spinal manipulation and back/neck injuries. Snow-chaser Hilary embarked on her professional journey in the world of skiing, initially working across Europe, New Zealand, and Canada as a Ski Technician. It was during this time that she delved into the intricacies of the human body, utilising biomechanics to tailor ski boots to the unique needs of each client. In 2009, Hilary returned to her hometown to pursue higher education at the University of Brighton, earning a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy. Since completing her studies, she has continually fueled her enthusiasm for physiotherapy with a focus on sports. Hilary has dedicated herself to honing her expertise in managing sports injuries, collaborating closely with various sports, teams, and individual athletes. Her passion extends to rehabilitating and managing training for women and athletes, including those participating in multisport events. Over the years, Hilary has expanded her physiotherapy skill set into diverse realms, acquiring additional qualifications to elevate her practice. Her pursuits include specialised training in managing concussions, addressing vestibular/balance disorders, tackling persistent pain issues, dealing with breathing disorders, and incorporating hydrotherapy into her repertoire. Jordan grew up on a farm in Western Australia. He studied physiotherapy at Curtin university and now has over 10 years' experience. Jordan was the Principal Physiotherapist and Director for a well-established sports physiotherapy clinic prior to moving to Queenstown. Jordan’s main passion is sports, and he has significant sports physiotherapy experience. He looked after Team Canada and Team USA during their International Ice Hockey tour the Sydney Blue Sox Baseball Team and he has also worked with various tennis and AFL clubs. Jordan now looks after the local Wakatipu rugby team alongside Dougal. Jordan has also worked extensively in postoperative rehabilitation with Perth’s best Orthopaedic specialists. Jordan is an expert at treating vertigo having specialized in this field. Jordan loves providing quality physiotherapy to the local community and getting involved with local clubs. He is a member of the Queenstown tennis club & Queenstown Bombers AFL club. In his spare time, Jordan loves to play the piano, tennis, travel the world, snowboard, and spend as much time outside in nature.
