Snow-chaser Hilary started out her career working throughout Europe, NZ and Canada as a Ski Technician. Here was where she was introduced to the mechanics of the human body, as she used biomechanics to customise ski boots to fit each individual client.
In 2009, Hilary returned to her hometown Brighton, to study at the University of Brighton where she gained a BSc (Hons)Physiotherapy degree.
Since qualifying, Hilary worked as a rotational Physiotherapist for the NHS and after finding her passion for MSK physio with a sports focus, became the lead physiotherapist at local rugby club, Hove RFC.
She continues to work closely with a variety of sports, working with teams and individuals. This involves pitch-side management, rehab post injury and on-going strength and conditioning programmes. Hilary has completed a number of additional qualifications to enhance her practice, including experience with hydrotherapy.
Now a permanent Queenstowner Hilary can be found sliding down a mountain, braving a swim in the Wakatipu or discovering the amazing trails and tracks of Aotearoa.
