Born and raised in Invercargill, Emma graduated from University of Otago with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. She is excited to join the team at Christchurch Physiotherapy and Sports Clinic and help the people of Canterbury get back to doing what they love. Emma has knowledge and experience looking after a wide range of rugby teams – including 2nd XV, Colts, Div 1 and Div 2 teams both here in Christchurch and in the deep south. Emma’s other clinical interests include athletics, netball and snow sport related injuries, as well as clinical Pilates, injury prevention and return to sport rehabilitation. Jack is a dedicated physiotherapist with a strong focus on rehabilitation and advanced treatment techniques. After completing his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Otago, he went on to obtain a Postgraduate Certificate in Rehabilitation, further enhancing his expertise in injury recovery and performance optimization. With experience providing rehabilitation services for the New Zealand Defence Force, Jack has developed a keen interest in climbing-related injuries, return-to-sport rehabilitation, and pre/post-operative care. He also incorporates dry needling and acupuncture into his treatments to support pain management and recovery. Passionate about helping patients regain strength and mobility, Jack takes a holistic, evidence-based approach to rehabilitation. Outside of work, Jack is an avid bouldering enthusiast, a hobbyist mechanic and loves exploring the South Island, especially on his motorcycle. Mr Jeffrey Huang

With over a decade of experience, Jeffrey is a senior physiotherapist and an accredited ASCA Level 1 strength and conditioning coach, with a special interest in sports rehabilitation. He has extensive experience treating athletes at all levels, from weekend warriors to high-performance competitors. Most recently, Jeffrey served as the head physiotherapist for the NZ U17 men’s basketball team, which achieved a historic 4th place at the U17 World Cup in Turkey. He has also worked as a Clinical Educator at the School of Physiotherapy Clinics in Dunedin, mentoring and training the next generation of physiotherapists. Jeffrey is passionate about promoting individualised long-term health and physical activity and is committed to guiding his patients towards achieving their fitness and wellness goals with confidence and resilience. Having played, competed, and volunteered for a wide range of sports he is passionate about helping people at all levels return to sport and achieve their goals. His clinical interests include injury rehabilitation/return to sport, strength and conditioning, and pre/post-operative physiotherapy. Marion graduated from the University of Otago and has a lifelong passion for sports and a strong commitment to helping athletes perform at their best. She has a special interest in working with young athletes, particularly in strength & conditioning, return to sport rehabilitation, injury prevention, and performance coaching. She is in the process of completing her Level 1 ASCA Strength and Conditioning course and works with gymnasts and dancers across ballet, jazz, and contemporary disciplines. Drawing from her experience as a former competitive Irish dancer, she understands the niche physical demands of performing arts and tailors’ rehabilitation to support both recovery and performance. In addition to her clinical work, Marion is the Head Girls Rowing Coach at St. Andrew’s College. She also provides rugby medical support for Greymouth rugby league team, Girls High' 1st XV, and the Canterbury U18 Women's team. She is passionate about guiding athletes back to full function and optimizing their performance through individualized rehab programs, manual therapy, and education. Mike is a highly educated and experienced physiotherapist with over 10 years’ experience working with athletes at Harvard University, High Performance Sport NZ, NZ Cricket, NZ Softball, Canterbury Cricket, Netball Mainland, and Ultimate Frisbee to name a few. Mike has comprehensive knowledge of sports performance as a coach and athlete, having played representative rugby as well as competing in track and field, and New Zealand’s premier Coast to Coast multisport event, among others. Mikes Clinical interests are in post-operative physiotherapy and exercise rehabilitation for acute and traumatic injuries, as well as long term management of chronic conditions. He also has vast knowledge in strength & conditioning as an Australian Strength & Conditioning level 2 coach, and experience working internationally at an elite level. Sherri Ball is a Senior Podiatrist with a strong background in pain and injury management. Graduating from Auckland University of Technology in 2014, she specializes in general podiatry, ingrown toenail surgery, and sports podiatry. With a foundation in physical education, including biomechanics and kinesiology, Sherri takes a holistic approach to lower limb pain and injury management. She emphasizes gait analysis, muscle testing, and functional movement correction to optimize recovery. Holding postgraduate training in musculoskeletal and pain management from Otago University, she aims to further her studies in youth pain experiences.
