Briar is a physiotherapist with a passion for movement, wellbeing, and helping people get the most out of life. She has a strong focus on musculoskeletal health and enjoys working with a wide range of clients, from everyday movers to elite athletes. Alongside physiotherapy, she draws on her background in yoga and Pilates to support strength, flexibility, and holistic wellbeing.
Briar is also the travelling physiotherapist for the Samoa Women’s National Football Team, supporting them through international tournaments including the Oceania World Cup Qualifiers, the Dallas Cup, and the FIFA Women’s World Cup. Her approach is practical, supportive, and tailored to each individual, whether the goal is returning to sport, recovering from injury, or simply feeling stronger and more balanced. Outside of work, she’s a keen runner, yogi, and lover of the outdoors.

Jeanette qualified with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2001, and a Bachelor of Physical Education (Honours in Exercise Physiology) in 1996, both from the University of Otago. She has worked in multidisciplinary practices and private musculoskeletal clinics for more than 20 years. She has a strong clinical interest in knee rehabilitation especially ACL post-operative rehabilitation, and functional biomechanics/overuse sporting injuries. She is heavily involved in the cycling community and coordinates a women’s mountain bike group ride with skills practice at the weekends. Jeanette has represented NZ in athletics (as a junior), and as an elite level mountain biker. She is also a former Coast to Coast winner and has an in-depth understanding of these sports and the mindset of an athlete. View details »
