Mahesh is a highly qualified and dedicated Physiotherapist and Associate Hand Therapist offering a wealth of knowledge and experience. Mahesh strongly believes in self empowerment and education so clients have a full understanding of their injuries during each stage of their rehabilitation process. He has a distinctive interest in chronic pain, exercise based rehabilitation and biomechanics. Mahesh also has a solid background in sports. He has worked with a number of sports teams including: Toa Samoa U16s Rugby League, Eden Rugby Premier Women, Eden Rugby U20s, Marist Rugby U21s and Grand Masters Netball Premier Women. Mrs Belinda Gerdis
Registered Hand Therapist and Occupational Therapist
Belinda completed three years of a Bachelor of Medicine degree in Cape Town, South Africa in 1992, before immigrating to New Zealand, where she qualified as an Occupational Therapist at AUT in 1996. 2009 was a busy year for Belinda as she completed her Post Graduate Certificate in Health Science and following this achieved her Registered Hand Therapist status. She then spent five years working in spinal rehabilitation, with a special interest in the management of the tetraplegic hand, before joining Handworks in 2011.
