JP is a second generation Physiotherapist and is married to another Physiotherapist, so you might say it is in the blood! He graduated from the University of Otago's School of Physiotherapy in 2003. Since then, he has worked in arguably some of Christchurch's best musculoskeletal and sports injury clinics. He has worked with several rugby teams, from 1st XV level through to representative teams. He was involved with the South Island Secondary Schools Rugby team in 2010 and 2011, and the Canterbury Colts Rugby Team from 2004 until 2012. More recently his focus has shifted to post-operative and return to work rehabilitation, and he completed his postgraduate certificate in rehabilitation in 2015. He is also trained in the Watson Approach for headaches and migraines.
