I started KCP Physiotherapy quite a few years ago at Don Oliver’s Fitness City and then moved to Kapiti Road. Transit NZ purchased my site for the state highway over pass so we moved into the Kapiti Aquatic Centre as a main sponsor. I have a long history looking after numerous sports teams across numerous codes. I have completed three Post Graduate Diplomas and have my Masters degree in Physiotherapy (endorsed in acupuncture). I have significant experience with needling, manipulative therapy and exercise prescription. In my spare time I love exercise, I spent many years sport fighting, weightlifting and in the last 8 years have been doing CrossFit. As I age (very slowly...) my main focus is complex chronic injuries. These days I mostly only work early mornings. View details »
I have been a private practice physiotherapist for 12 years.
I have a special interest in the manual therapy side of physio but also enjoy prescribing patients with exercises that will help them at home. I have a special interest in golf, swimming and running related injuries.
My general philosophy for Physiotherapy is that I am not healing you but I can help facilitate the natural healing process. I use a lot of hands on treatment to provide relief but also give advice on how to make things as efficient as possible.

I have been working at KCP Physiotherapy since 2017. I completed my Bachelors Degree in Physiotherapy in 2016, a Postgraduate Diploma in Sports Physiotherapy in 2020 and my Masters in Manipulative Therapy in 2021. I have also completed a Certificate in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (COMT) through the New Zealand Manipulative Association (NZMPA) in 2018 and an advanced sideline injury management course, Immediate Care in Rugby Level 2 through NZ Rugby.
I am heavily involved with rugby out here on the coast, working with the Horowhenua-Kapiti Heartland Team as Lead Physiotherapist from 2017-2020, and then as a playing squad member in 2021. I still play in the local Paraparaumu Premiers and have had my share of injuries along the way.
I believe this first-hand experience of simple sprains or strains to injuries requiring surgery allows me to connect with my patients on a mutual level and successfully get them back to whatever their activity goals are. It doesn't matter if it's a walk on the beach, being able to look after the grandkids, or competing at a high level, I am happily here to help. View details »
