I graduated as a physiotherapist from Otago University in 2016 and in addition have a post-graduate certificate in sport and exercise. I’m a big believer in both mental and physical exercise as it not only aligns with the evidence but because it puts you in control of your recovery.
When I’m not working as a physiotherapist you can find me on the sidelines of the football field where I serve as manager (and occasional player) for a semi-social team in Waikanae. Football aside, my main passion is reading anything and everything and spending time with my wife Claudia, and fur baby Labrador Zizou.

I joined KCP Physiotherapy in April 2025 after making the move to New Zealand from Pakistan. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy (2017) and a Master’s degree in the field, completed in 2024. With hands-on experience across both hospital environments and sports teams, I’ve developed a deep understanding of injury mechanisms, rehabilitation strategies, and performance optimization.
My approach to physiotherapy is rooted in the belief that recovery is not just about healing—it's about restoring movement, building resilience, and empowering individuals to take charge of their well-being. I combine evidence-based manual therapy with personalized exercise programs to help clients return stronger and more confident in their bodies.
Outside the work, I stay active through badminton and going to the gym—activities that keep me attuned to the physical and mental demands of performance. View details »
I was born in England and raised in Christchurch where I developed a keen interest in everything sports-related, sparking my interest in Physiotherapy. I am a keen runner and enjoy training for various long-distance events, as well as going to the gym in my spare time.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Otago and continue to upskill myself through courses and by considering the latest research. My treatment philosophy is a combination of hands-on and exercise-based approaches. I believe in providing you with the tools to be able to self-manage as much as possible, streamlining your recovery and allowing you to return to what is most meaningful to you. View details »
