Lauren graduated from Glasgow Caledonian in Scotland 2017 with a BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy. She completed placements within various hospital departments including respiratory, spinal cord injuries, pediatrics, outpatients and neurological units. Since moving to Auckland at the end of 2017 she completed her mat and reformer Pilates training and has also completed her post graduate degree in musculoskeletal physiotherapy focusing on manual therapy, breathing performance and biomechanics. She is currently finishing her Masters in Health Science where she is researching knowledge surrounding Relative Energy Deficiency in sport (REDs). Lauren has worked with a range of patients with various rehab needs. She has been able to help everyone from the weekend warrior just wanting to get better functionality to under 23 female rowers, cyclists, dancers, high level rugby and football teams, ultra runners and iron man athletes to post operative, shoulders, knees and hip replacements. Lauren has a background in high performance sports herself. She has represented Great Britain in Figure skating and also has a background in rowing, horse riding and dancing. Since moving to New Zealand she embraced the challenge of endurance racing and has competed several full and 70.3 Iron mans. Janaka studied Physiotherapy in Auckland graduating in 2005 and has 17 year's clinical experience in private practice including 5 years in London. Janaka has a special interest in treating sporting and complex spinal injuries and has a keen interest in shockwave therapy, tendon injuries and has completed a post-graduate certificate in orthopaedic manual therapy.
