Isabelle obtained an integrated masters degree in Osteopathy from European School of Osteopathy in England and worked as an osteopath in Whangarei for five years.
She has a lifelong interest in fields relating to healing, wellbeing, wisdom cultivation and natural living. As a child she learnt meditation, observed her mother gardening and making herbal remedies and heard stories about how her grandmother helped people through energy healing.
Isabelle continues to look for ways to improve her skills as a therapist, wanting to find out how to achieve rapid , profound and lasting shifts in people’s health and wellbeing. She has found that aiming to provide a truly holistic approach to health is challenging and requires continual study and development, especially when it comes to helping people with complicated physical symptoms which are in part due to deep, often unconscious, patterns manifesting, for example, as stress, anxiety, depression, addiction and low self esteem, to name a few.
As a result, she completed her certification in Yuan Qigong and Ren Xue teaching, Yuan Ming Techniques and Havening Techniques. These modalities are based on meditation, energy healing, ancient Chinese wisdom culture as well as modern science and neurology which include understanding how trauma affects the brain.
She is passionate about getting people to a place where they have the tools to manage their health themselves. She enjoys working with all sorts of people and problems though she has a special interest in woman’s health, working with mothers and babies, visceral complaints (e.g. digestive), stress related complaints and chronic pain.View details »
