Jamie has three years’ experience working within the NHS in Scotland, and I’m excited to have joined the team at Motion Health Dunedin.
He has worked in senior roles across musculoskeletal outpatient services, with additional experience in hand and upper limb rehabilitation. Having also worked in private practice he is well versed in musculoskeletal, orthopaedics, men’s health conditions and sports-related injuries. Jamie has a particular interest in working with competitive athletes to support both injury recovery and performance.
With an evidence-based, patient-centred approach to physiotherapy, Jamie focuses on helping people return to the activities that matter most to them—whether that’s sport, work, or everyday life.
Outside of the clinic, you’ll usually find him exploring the outdoors. He loves hiking, climbing, surfing, mountain biking, and running, and is a regular at the gym. When he is not moving, he enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time on creative pursuits through art.

Originally from Yorkshire, Wendy emigrated in 2006 with a year in Adelaide before settling in New Zealand. She finally made the move from the North Island to Otago in 2022.
Over the years Wendy has been drawn towards gentler acupuncture techniques (inspired by the Japanese approach). With the aim of providing an effective treatment in the most relaxing way, supporting the nervous system to rest, reset, and restore.
Wendy is passionate about rehabilitation, and loves to help clients connect with movements that provide a sense of connection between their mind and body whilst also aiding recovery.
In her late 20s, a back injury led Wendy on a journey from chronic pain to qualifying as an acupuncturist in 2004, and soon after she trained in Pilates before studying physiotherapy. A wrist injury led to a surgery (and a second chronic pain encounter) that curtailed working as a physio but enabled her to incorporate the knowledge to approach acupuncture from both Eastern and Western perspectives, with a particular interest, and a lived experience of, chronic pain.
The past decade has been a yoga deep-dive whilst keeping her Pilates rehab skills up to date. Wendy is fascinated by how an awareness of the body influences health, particularly through movement and meditation, and supporting clients to access mind/body awareness. This curiosity led to a PhD that explored how yoga can support a healthy lifestyle. Facilitating clients to move well and live well inspires her to continually learn and develop as a rehab practitioner. View details »
