Joe graduated from Sport and Exercise science in 2016, specializing in strength and conditioning and exercise physiology. He went on to graduate from his Physiotherapy Masters in 2020 at The University of Brighton, England, and has since worked in Musculoskeletal practice in the UK and New Zealand. He has additional qualifications in acupuncture / dry needling and sports massage. Joe uses a combination of education, exercise and hands-on therapy with his patients. He enjoys treating people from all walks of life using a holistic approach that factors in the individual and their preferences. His personal interests include surfing, other outdoor and adventure activities, cooking and gaming. His exercise habits often involve a mixture of weightlifting and resistance training, cardiovascular exercise, mobility training and breathwork with a focus on longevity and general wellness. Jane graduated from the University of Huddersfield, England with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) Physiotherapy degree. Jane has completed rotations in Geriorthopaedics and respiratory whilst working in a rehabilitation hospital in Ireland. Jane enjoys treating patients from all walks of life and likes challenging people to the best of their abilities. Jane relocated from Ireland to New Zealand in November 2024 to join the Motion Health team here in Dunedin. In her spare time, Jane enjoys walking, attending Pilates classes, swimming and on a very rare occasion surfing. Mike has been keeping people moving for 20 years. He is an Otago graduate who has worked around the motu from Hawkes Bay to Dunedin and in between. Early in his career, Mike spent a year working for the Guinness Factory in Dublin. He opened his practice in Dunedin in 2009 on Forth Street and opened the Hanover Street clinic in 2020. Being experienced in all aspects of physiotherapy, Mike has a special interest in sports injuries especially recurring niggles that may have had physio in the past but not been addressed properly. He also undertakes workplace pre-employment screening. Mike has completed multiple post-graduate training programs in McKenzie and Mulligan treatment approaches as well as advanced dry needling courses.
