Mike has been keeping people moving for 20 years. He is an Otago graduate who has worked around the motu from Hawkes Bay to Dunedin and in between. Early in his career, Mike spent a year working for the Guinness Factory in Dublin. He opened his practice in Dunedin in 2009 on Forth Street and opened the Hanover Street clinic in 2020. Being experienced in all aspects of physiotherapy, Mike has a special interest in sports injuries especially recurring niggles that may have had physio in the past but not been addressed properly. He also undertakes workplace pre-employment screening. Mike has completed multiple post-graduate training programs in McKenzie and Mulligan treatment approaches as well as advanced dry needling courses. Francis graduated in 2016 and spent 6 years working in Auckland before moving to Dunedin in January of 2023. Francis has a strong personal interest in helping patients develop effective self-management strategies for coping with and managing their pain and discomfort. He also puts a heavy focus on exercise-based rehabilitation strategies to help keep patients active and involved in what’s important to them in the safest and most comfortable way possible. Professionally he has also had a lot of experience working with occupational and overuse type injuries and the holistic complexities that these conditions present patients with, considering not only the physical, but also the social, and psychological impact these injuries have. Personally, Francis enjoys getting out and active as often as he can, he loves to run, play hockey, train at the gym, skateboard, and hike.
