Erica (originally from Italy, 14 years in NZ) has been practicing Pilates since 2007.
She soon found the benefits of Pilates were enhancing her life and general wellbeing, some of which are: strengthening of the core (deep abdominal wall and pelvic floor muscles), lengthening and stabilizing of the spine, toning of muscles, rehabilitation of joints, stress management, improvement of mood, flexibility and postural alignment.
She then completed her training in Italy in 2015 through Balance Body, becoming a certified instructor for Pilates Mat and various apparatus (Reformer, Tower, Trapeze, Chair and small equipment). In 2023 she started a diploma in clinical pilates and rehabilitation.
Erica loves teaching and witnessing the transformation of her clients through the benefits of pilates. She pays particular attention to details, posture and correct alignment (both in a 1on1 and in a class setting) whilst motivating to challenge each movement. Her teaching style is friendly and welcoming, and her classes are a dynamic continuous flow, starting gently while increasing the pace, and options are given to suit different abilities. She has worked with a wide age range of clients and backgrounds, including athletes, pre- and post surgery rehabilitation, and pre- and post-natal women. View details »
