Registered Hand Therapist, Registered Physiotherapis.
BHSc(Physio), PGCert(Rehabilitation).
I am a Physiotherapist with an interest in musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions. I am a qualified McKenzie, Mulligan, Back in Motion Pilates instructor and have a post graduate certificate in western acupuncture. I started specialising in Hand Therapy in 2019 and am now fully registered working in this role both privately and for the DHB. I love hand therapy for the challenge of combining orthopaedic and musculoskeletal knowledge and for our role within a greater medical team.
I have a husband Lon and two children and two stepchildren and grandchildren. When I’m not working I like being in Golden Bay or Murchison (home town), tramping, walking the dog, paddle boarding, reading and gardening and hanging out with my family. View details »

After 9 years working as a rehabilitation and musculoskeletal Physiotherapist in both private and public sectors, I trained as a Hand Therapist and haven't looked back. I am passionate about hand therapy and thrive on the challenge of being a specialist in the hand and upper limb. Our hands play such an important role in our everyday lives, and I enjoy working closely with people to help them on their journey of recovery.
I value having an active lifestyle and grab any opportunity to explore the beautiful outdoors that Nelson has to offer with my wife Christina, two-year-old son Noah and newborn daughter Zara. View details »
Registered Hand Therapist, Registered Physiotherapist.
PGCertHealthScience(Rehabilitation), BPhty, BBiomedSci.
After gaining diverse experience in Physiotherapy across various departments at Wellington Regional Hospital, I found my true passion when I joined the Hand Therapy team. It was here that I discovered the perfect blend of my love for working with people and my creative inclinations. Since 2020, I have worked in private practice and completed further study. Hand Therapy not only allows me to support clients through their hand and upper limb injuries, but also serves as a creative outlet for me through custom splint making and innovative problem-solving. I consider it a privilege to assist clients on their journey to recovery, offering them the expertise and compassionate care they deserve.
Outside of work, I indulge in my personal interests, including crochet, which allows me to express my creativity in another form. I also find joy in music, cooking, and embarking on exciting adventures with my partner and our beloved dog. View details »
