Mr Daniel Hunter

Physiotherapist;

Daniel graduated from Bond University, Australia with a Doctor of Physiotherapy in 2024, supporting his Bachelor of Business from Massey University, Auckland. During his final year of study, he co-authored a published research paper titled “Impacts of Duty Belts and Load Placement on Police Officers - A Systematic Review.” Through previous experiences as an athlete Daniel has developed a keen interest in working with people to achieve their goals, with a special interest in swimming. He is keen to develop skills in manual therapy and exercise prescription. He has also furthered his knowledge through completing a course in dry needling and western acupuncture. He is looking forward to working with Nicky and the team to develop skills in migraine and headaches and vestibular management. Daniel has a background in competitive swimming. He represented New Zealand as an Aquablack at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and multiple World Championships. Outside of work, he now enjoys being involved in many outdoor activities including golf, surfing, diving, and fishing. Whilst completing his studies he became a qualified lifeguard and spent 3 years working part time for the Gold Coast City Council Lifeguard service, operating up and down the beaches of the Gold Coast. In his free time Daniel enjoys spending time with his family and friends or just going out for a coffee and a chat.
