Emma graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with distinction in 2024.
Emma's passion for physiotherapy began during her teenage years having extensive physiotherapy and rehabilitation for a significant knee joint injury. She experienced the positive impact of physiotherapy treatment and exercise rehabilitation first hand.
Emma has a special interest in sports related injuries, having been a sports medic for both football and rugby teams during her universtiy years and currently is the physio for Metro Mens Football Club. Coming from Wanaka, Emma has enjoyed the outdoors and spent a lot of time skiing, running and hiking. These strong connections to exercise, sports and the outdoors have given her a greater understanding around injury and rehabilitation. Emma utilises a combination of manual therapy, dry needling and exercise prescription during her physio sessions.
When she’s not out exploring you can find her sipping on a coffee with friends, at the gym, or reading in the sun. View details »
