Hamish graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with distinction.
During his studies, he gained valuable experience working with sports teams and also spent time as a support worker with people with intellectual disabilities, providing a strong appreciation for the different ways physiotherapy can positively impact lives.
Hamish grew up in Auckland and has always had a passion for sport. He played competitive football until university and now enjoys a wide range of activities including ultra-endurance running, skiing, surfing, and hiking. His current focus is on ultra-distance running while also balancing building strength in the gym. With such a diverse sporting background, Hamish brings a unique understanding of the physical and mental demands of sport and exercise. Providing a "hands on" manual therapy approach coupled with the latest exercise prescription, you will be back to doing what you love in no time.
Outside of sport, Hamish enjoys photography and anything that is a challenge (currently salsa dancing), as well as spending time outdoors with friends and family. He is passionate about helping people return to the activities they love, whether that’s sport, recreation, or everyday movement.
