Tony Chiu has a clinical interest in musculoskeletal rehabilitation
and ergonomics.
He graduated in 1996 from a University in Hong Kong and obtained a
Master’s degree in Manipulative Physiotherapy in 2003, followed by a
second Master’s degree from the University of Queensland, Australia.
Since graduating, Tony has gained extensive experience working in various
clinical settings.
In recent years, Tony has focused on studying the fascia system’s impact
on human movement and its biomechanical contribution to musculoskeletal
pain. He is also skilled in instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization
techniques (IASTM). Tony is a certified Graston® Technique provider (US
system) and a certified FAZER (German system) training course instructor.
Tony has a keen interest in ergonomics and has worked as an ergonomic
consultant for several large companies, helping to improve their working
environments.
