As an ACC Endorsed Provider, he has worked in private practice, hospital environments, and with sporting organisations, developing advanced diagnostic and management skills for both simple and complex injuries. Ciaran contributes widely to the profession, serving on the Executive Committee of Physiotherapy New Zealand, the Education Sub committee of the New Zealand Musculoskeletal and Manual Physiotherapists, and the Advisory Board for the University of Auckland’s Master of Physiotherapy Practice programme. He also teaches extensively, including as lead tutor for the NZMMP Peripheral Nervous System Disorders COMT course and as a lecturer at the University of Auckland.
