Clare joined the Proactive team as a Physiotherapist in October 2021. Originally from the UK, she graduated from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland. Having worked in the National Health Service in Scotland for four years, private practice in Wanaka for three years, and most recently Dunstan Hospital in Otago for a year, Clare has a diverse range of experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, sports injury management, and acute hospital rehabilitation. She also has experience and interest in dry needling, Pilates and core strengthening, and remedial sports massage.
Clare moved to New Zealand in 2017, making Wanaka her home. Outside of work, she enjoys being in the mountains whether it’s rock climbing, hiking, ski touring, biking, or trail running. She also enjoys cold water swims, cooking up good food and spending time with friends and family.
