Rachel is a NZ Registered Physiotherapist and ACC-endorsed provider with a Bachelor of Health Science in Sports Rehabilitation and Athletic Therapy, and a Master of Science in Physiotherapy. With five years of clinical experience, she has worked across a variety of private practice settings in Ireland and internationally, including ski destinations in Austria and Japan. Rachel has also served as Head Physiotherapist for multiple sports teams, supporting athletes across Gaelic football, hurling, camogie, football, rugby, and youth development programmes.
Rachel’s main clinical interest is musculoskeletal physiotherapy, with particular expertise in sports rehabilitation, concussion management, early intervention, and injury prevention. She is also trained in dry needling and can incorporate this as part of her treatment to help reduce pain and improve muscle function when appropriate. Rachel has extensive experience supporting skiers, snowboarders, and rugby players through concussion return-to-play programmes, ensuring safe and effective recovery.
Her approach is simple and effective — she takes the time to listen to each client’s goals, helps them understand their injury, and develops a treatment plan tailored to their lifestyle. By combining manual therapy, exercise, education, and dry needling when appropriate, she aims to help people return confidently to the activities they enjoy most.View details »
