Ms Rebecca Kashdan

Physiotherapist;

Hi, my name is Rebecca. I am originally from the USA, where I earned my Doctor of Physiotherapy degree from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey in 2015. I have worked with people of all ages, with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries, post-surgical rehab, balance dysfunction, work injuries and neurological conditions such as strokes, MS and Parkinsons. I became a physiotherapist because I love anatomy, I am fascinated by biomechanics and how the body works. I have trained in McKennzie and Mulligan techniques, completed courses to address movement dysfunction for dancers and aerialists and I am a member of the International Association of Dance Medicine & Science. Before moving to NZ, I spent a year traveling through the Caribbean and doing some volunteer work with circus professionals (as well as a little bit of performing myself). I joined the Hastings team in January 2023 and I can’t wait to help you overcome your challenges to get back to doing what you love. In my free time you might find me in a Zumba class, up in the air on the flying trapeze, at the beach, or exploring new places I haven’t seen yet. View details »
