Rowyn is an experienced physiotherapist with a Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy) and seven years of clinical practice. He is a New Zealand Registered Physiotherapist and an ACC Endorsed Provider. Rowyn has worked across private practice, hospital settings, post-surgical rehabilitation, and community-based care. He has a strong background in sports physiotherapy, having previously supported Rotorua Boys’ High School 1st XV rugby and currently providing an on-site physiotherapy clinic at the school.
His areas of expertise include musculoskeletal physiotherapy, vocational and social rehabilitation, early intervention and injury prevention, sports rehab, and dry needling.
Rowyn uses a biopsychosocial approach, integrating manual therapy, exercise prescription, and education to support long-term recovery. He focuses on enablement and empowering clients to self-manage and progress independently while providing therapeutic input for symptom management.
