I qualified in 2016 from The University of Salford (Manchester) in the UK with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy. I started work in MSK outpatients for a North West NHS trust. I have worked in MSK for a UK hospital trust that is an orthopaedic centre of excellence for a total of 5 years. From this I have gained skills the management of MSK conditions, both acute and chronic, and orthopaedic and spinal patients post operatively. Since 2017 I have also worked in the private sector gaining expertise in all manner of sports injuries, road traffic accident injuries and occupational/vocational rehabilitation. I have recently attained my Master’s degree in Advanced Physiotherapy from Manchester Metropolitan University. I have also got post graduate qualifications in acupuncture and Pilates. I have a strong interest in manual therapy (hands-on), and strength and conditioning as part of the rehabilitation process and the patient-centred approach. Emma has completed post-graduate training in pelvic health physiotherapy and can assess and treat issues during pregnancy and post-partum, bladder and bowel issues, weak pelvic floor muscles, incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse.
