Shawn is an experienced physiotherapist with a Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy) and eight years of clinical practice. He is a New Zealand Registered Physiotherapist, ACC Endorsed Provider, and holds advanced certifications including COMT (Certificate in Orthopaedic Manual Testing), advanced dry needling for upper and lower limbs, and concussion assessment and treatment. Shawn has worked across private practice and community-based care, developing expertise in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, concussion rehabilitation, vocational rehabilitation, sports rehab, and early intervention. His clinical approach combines humanistic care with solution-focused strategies to empower patients toward meaningful recovery. Shawn uses mechanical-based assessment, joint mobilisation, targeted exercise rehabilitation, and education to restore movement and function.
