Steve graduated from Otago Physiotherapy School in 1984 and went on to run his own private practice, "Papamoa Physiotherapy," for over 30 years. Steve joined the Proactive team in 2018, after reviewing their approach to healthcare and client wellbeing and deciding that this was something that he could align with. Nicole graduated from Wintec in 2023 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with first class Honours. She joins the Proactive team with a desire to work with people to get them back to doing what’s important to them, and values taking the time to get to know them. Nicole has a special interest in musculoskeletal/orthopaedic and sports-related physiotherapy. Along with experience in the musculoskeletal, concussion, paediatric, geriatric, and community physiotherapy spaces, Nicole spent time prior to her degree working in physiotherapy and podiatry clinics in customer service and reception roles. Outside of the clinic, Nicole enjoys the beach, hiking, stand-up paddle boarding, chocolate, and getting too competitive with board games. She is also kept busy with two kids and a dog!
