Preet Kamal Kaur holds a master's degree in Physiotherapy and a Postgraduate Diploma in Manual Therapy. Her doctoral research focuses on innovative, non-invasive brain techniques for fall prevention and vestibular rehabilitation. She is an esteemed member of Physiotherapy New Zealand and the New Zealand Rehabilitation Association.
With over 12 years of extensive clinical experience, Kaur specializes in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, neurology, sports injuries, and paediatrics. Her therapeutic approach integrates dry needling, manual therapy, trigger point release, and myofascial techniques integrated with exercises regimes, with a strong emphasis on falls prevention, vestibular rehab with geriatric care. Kaur specializes in the rehabilitation of concussion and traumatic brain injury (TBI) patients, utilizing evidence-based, non-invasive techniques to facilitate recovery and improve quality of life. Passionate about patient empowerment, she facilitates education-driven rehabilitation programs, enabling individuals to take control of their health and well-being.
Beyond clinical practice, Kaur has been actively involved in academia in the past as a clinical educator and research supervisor for undergraduate and postgraduate students. She also contributes to Brain Research New Zealand, engaging in various research projects and rehabilitation programs.
