Qualifications: Diploma of Physiotherapy, Otago, 1990. Postgraduate Certificate in Rehabilitation - University of Otago (2020)
Biography: I am a NZ trained physio who has worked in NZ, Michigan (USA) and for 18 years in a private practice in London (UK). 30 years of full-time physio means I’ve seen nearly everything that would come through a physio’s doors! I returned to NZ with my family in 2014 and we made our home in Christchurch. I stepped off the plane, went to an interview at You First Physio and started working for them the following week.
Clinical interests: Hip, knee and ankle injuries, Osteoarthritis, Health and wellbeing in the over 40s, Running rehabilitation
Hobbies/interests: International food and travel (though I’m now looking forward to getting to know NZ a whole lot better), Keeping fit, music, reading and perpetual learning
Why you love being a physio/part of the team: I love the variety and diversity of people I meet and being a part of their journey through injury. I especially get a kick out of seeing people realising they can achieve so much more than they think and helping them exceed their goals. The team we have at You First Physio are a wonderful group of people who support and nurture each other. I feel like I have another family in this environment!View details »
