Jack graduated from Otago University in 2023 after completing a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. As someone who has always been passionate about sport and exercise, he has found physiotherapy to be a great opportunity to help people of all activity levels to get back to the hobbies, sports or work they enjoy. During his studies, he realised the importance of taking a global approach to rehab and utilising a combination of exercise prescription, manual therapy and education to guide people in achieving their goals. Mya graduated from the Auckland University of Technology (AUT) in 2023 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Her diverse placements reinforced the importance of patient’s health literacy, whereby educating the patient effectively about their diagnosis, treatment and support options is a core focus of Mya’s. Mya’s experience competing at a high-performance level in triathlons, swimming and athletics, is one of the main contributing factors for choosing physiotherapy as a career, but Mya also has a passion for helping people return to activities they love to do and remain active.
