Caitie joined TBI Health in October 2018. Originally from Scotland, Caitie graduated in 2002 after completing a BSc (hons) degree in Occupational Therapy at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen. She then held various hospital positions in the UK before specialising in Hand Therapy. She moved to Taranaki in 2008 to take up a position as Hand Therapist at Base Hospital where she worked for almost 10 years prior to joining the team at TBI Health. Caitie is a New Zealand Registered Hand Therapist and also holds a Post-Graduate Certificate in Health Science (Rehabilitation).
When not at clinic, Caitie enjoys surfing, windsurfing, mountain biking, snowboarding and spending time with her family.

Maika speaks and is fluent in Hindi and Fijian languages. Maika graduated with Bachelor of Physiotherapy and diploma in sports science in 2020. He has worked across the country like Timaru, Oamaru, Dunedin and Taranaki whilst reaching out to the pacifica people who are in New Zealand, particularly working in meat factories. Maika enjoys treating a variety of injuries and uses exercise therapy, manual therapy and massage therapy in his treatments. Maika joined the TBI Health New Plymouth in 2025 as a physiotherapist. Chris grew up in Wellington before completing his bachelors of Physiotherapy at the University of Otago. Following graduating Chris worked at Auckland City Hospital rotating through the Musculoskeletal Department and the Older People’s Health wards before moving to New Plymouth in 2025. He has particular experience in aged care, post/pre-operative orthopedic surgery, and musculoskeletal injuries. Chris’ family comes from Ohaeawai a small Northland town near Kaikohe, and he enjoys playing basketball, football or practicing Spanish/Te Reo in his spare time. View details »
