Emily studied physiotherapy at Otago university, graduating in 1998, before going on to complete a PG diploma in sports medicine. She worked in private practise and with sports teams, as well as working here at TP physio. After 14 years living and working overseas in Scotland and France, she has now returned to Te Puke with her husband and 3 children.
Emily has a keen interest in sports injuries as well as helping people in the rural sector manage their injuries alongside their demanding workload.

Miyoung is originally from South Korea and has over 20 years experience as a physiotherapist in South Korea and NZ. She is passionate about treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, especially spinal injuries, and various joint conditions. This has led to her further training in Mulligan concept and clinical pilates. Miyoung's goal is not only to get the best outcomes for her patients but also to return them to their active lifestyles.
Specialty areas include manual therapies, pilates, dry needling, pre and post surgical rehab, women's pelvic health and exercise prescription.

Penny originally did her remedial massage training in London in 2002. She has upskilled over the last 2 years in NZ, training in holistic and deep tissue massage techniques, as well as pregnancy massage. She has a special interest in working alongside the physios to keep clients on the move and pain free. She offers 15min/20min/30/min/45min
