Originally from India, Soniya brings over 14 years of international experience to her practice in New Zealand, with advanced expertise in musculoskeletal, spinal, and sports rehabilitation. She spent much of her career leading clinical teams at one of India’s most specialised spine clinics, where she worked extensively with complex spinal conditions and chronic pain. With a calm and empathetic approach, Soniya is passionate about helping people recover from postural dysfunctions, injuries, and long-term pain. Her treatment style blends evidence-based rehabilitation planning with manual therapy techniques, including McKenzie, Kinetic control, and neurodynamics. Fluent in Hindi and conversational in Punjabi, Soniya values connecting with clients from diverse backgrounds. Penny originally did her remedial massage training in London in 2002. She has upskilled over the last 2 years in NZ, training in holistic and deep tissue massage techniques, as well as pregnancy massage. B Physiotherapy, MPNZ, PG Dip Sports Med Emily studied physiotherapy at Otago university, graduating in 1998, before going on to complete a PG diploma in sports medicine. She worked in private practise and with sports teams, as well as working here at TP physio. After 14 years living and working overseas in Scotland and France, she has now returned to Te Puke with her husband and 3 children. Emily has a keen interest in sports injuries as well as helping people in the rural sector manage their injuries alongside their demanding workload.
