Mrs Brigette Higinbottom
Physiotherapist
Brigette completed her Physiotherapy Studies at Otago University in 2002, going on to work at Greymouth Hospital, followed by a few years in the UK before returning to Canterbury in 2007. She has completed a Masters in Health Practice in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and currently works part-time, balancing Physiotherapy work with a young family. She enjoys anything to do with sports and getting outdoors! Brigette enjoys working alongside patients to reach their rehabilitation goals, she likes educating and empowering individuals to understand their injuries and therefore take control of their management as much as they can. Physiotherapist
Alister has been a front-line clinical physiotherapist for over three decades, including 16 years as a clinical educator. He takes a person-centred, and research informed approach to all his patients. Alister has extensive experience in solving complex clinical problems with a combination of manual therapy, acupuncture, exercise therapy, workplace assessments and cognitive behavioural approaches. He has a special interest in musician’s injuries, pain, and ergonomics Outside physiotherapy Alister is a part-time professional musician and music producer.
