MSc. Sports Physiotherapy, MPNZ
Jarrod worked in the sunny viticultural space of the great Hawkes Bay before heading to the warmer climate of Sydney, Australia. It is there that Jarrod developed an interest in Sports Physiotherapy and, alongside his role with the Australian Volleyball Team, completed his Masters in Sports Physiotherapy. Jarrod has worked as a Sports Physiotherapist with the New South Wales Institute of Sport and the Australian Institute of Sport.
Fast forward several years, Jarrod returned to New Zealand with his wonderful wife, Amy and their two kids in tow.
Jarrod and his family enjoy the trips through Central Otago where they love cycling and skiing adventures with their kids - and their beloved dog Bella.
On return to New Zealand, Jarrod worked alongside Para-Athletics and Athletics New Zealand which has taken him to likes of the Rio Paralympics and the London World Championships. His involvement with Para-sport continues through a ‘medical classification’ role assisting those with impairments define their place in Para-sports such as Athletics and Wheelchair Basketball.View details »
