Jess graduated in 2020 from The University of Otago (BPhty). She is a comprehensively certified Pilates Teacher (Diploma of Professional Pilates, 2012 PITC). Prior to studying physiotherapy Jess was a professional dancer - learning to self-manage injuries in this profession has influenced her physiotherapy style greatly. Jess works in partnership with clients to facilitate self-management strategies, tailoring treatments to an individual’s movement preferences, goals, and physical requirements. A keen runner she enjoys the challenge of rehabbing running related injuries, and has a strong interest in pre/ post-natal women's health /pelvic health - for both high performance and general population. She began her Pelvic Health training in 2021 and is planning to pursue this speciality further in the near future. Jess brings an energetic and compassionate approach to physiotherapy, as a Pilates instructor for over 10 years she is a skilled movement teacher, and believes strongly in the power of movement for long term change. Shane graduated from Trinity College (Dublin, Ireland) in 2012. He has worked private practice in both Ireland and New Zealand. Since graduating Shane has completed at Certificate in Strength and Conditioning and is an accredited McKenzie Therapist. Shane is currently working towards his post graduate diploma in musculoskeletal physiotherapy at AUT. He is currently working towards his Postgraduate Diploma in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy through the Auckland University of Technology. In addition to this, he has completed continuing professional development in trigger point dry needling and pilates. He also spent 6 months in the USA doing an internship with one of the world’s leading sports performance company’s, Exos, where he worked with professional athletes in NFL, NBA, NHL, soccer and athletics. Vijay is a Physiotherapist with a Physical Education and Physiology degree, with 20 years of experience he is passionate about giving people the tools to self-manage at school, work, home or in the sporting environment.
