Originally from the Kapiti Coast, James is an NZ-trained physio (AUT) with 13 years+ experience across private practice, vocational rehab, and community settings. James loves helping people stay connected to the activities they care about whether that’s pounding the pavement, surfing, or walking the doggo after work without pain. His style is participation-led, practical, and people-focused. He has a special interest in acupuncture & dry needling, return to sport and strength and conditioning. James is currently completing his post grad certificate in upper limb rehab and continues to support the local climbing community as a go to provider for climbing rehab in Auckland. View details »
Mark graduated from AUT in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy. He is passionate about developing a strong therapeutic relationship with his clients so that they can work collaboratively to achieve the client's goals. Mark si also a strong advocate for adopting a holistic appraoch when it comes to injury rehabilitation, to make sure that his clients are not only physically able to achieve their goals, but also have the confidence to.
Mark has previously worked with the Birkenhead United Football Club for one year while studying. He played many sports growing up, but has a particular passion for football, swimming, waterpolo and cricket.

David is a Physiotherapist with a Bachelor of Health Science in Physiotherapy from AUT, and postgraduate training in Western Acupuncture. He began his career in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, gaining valuable experience across workplace, community, and sports environments before transitioning into neurological rehabilitation.
Since joining Active+ Albany, David has undertaken ongoing training in neurological assessment and treatment, developing a strong clinical interest in concussion management from both a musculoskeletal and neurological perspective. David places a strong emphasis on client education and self-management, empowering his clients to reduce the risk of future injury while supporting long-term health and active lifestyles.
Outside of work, David is a keen musician and home cook, and has thoroughly enjoyed adapting to his new role as a father. View details »
