After deciding on a career change, Barry has graduated from Wintec with honours in a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. While studying Barry worked as a Physiotherapy Assistant at Waikato Hospital where he was able to get experience in Cardio-Respiratory, Oncology, Orthopaedics, Acute care, and Rehabilitation care.
Growing up, Barry competed in Athletics, representing New Zealand on many occasions, mainly in sprints, long jump, and hurdles before moving on to other sports such as indoor netball and basketball. Barry still competes in Netball having played for Waikato Tainui and winning gold in the 2024 Mixed grade and Men’s grade masters nationals teams!
In his spare time, Barry is an experienced netball coach, loves spending time with his family, playing board games and has recently found his green thumb, enjoying growing house plants!View details »
