She has a genuine love for variety in her work, specialising across paediatrics, sport, and vocational rehab - always tailoring treatment and goals to what genuinely matters to each person and fits their lifestyle.
With a strong sporting background and extensive experience working with children, Marley was drawn to physiotherapy as a way to combine her love of movement with helping people of all ages stay active and keep progressing. Barry is a newly graduated Physiotherapist who completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy with honours from Wintec after deciding on a career change. During his studies, he gained valuable experience as a Physiotherapy Assistant at Waikato Hospital across Cardio-Respiratory, Oncology, Orthopaedics, Acute care, and Rehabilitation departments. A former competitive athlete who represented New Zealand in athletics specialising in sprints, long jump, and hurdles, Barry transitioned to indoor netball and basketball and still competes today, having played for Waikato Tainui and winning gold in both Mixed grade and Men's grade at the 2024 masters nationals. In his spare time, Barry is an experienced netball coach who loves spending time with his family, playing board games, and has recently discovered his passion for growing house plants, bringing his athletic background and diverse healthcare experience to his physiotherapy practice. Katy is a newly graduated Physiotherapist from Ulster University in Derry, Ireland, who has recently moved to Hamilton to join Active Health. Throughout her student years, she gained valuable experience working with Basketball Ireland, Intercounty soccer teams, and served as the Physio for the U19 Derry Ladies Gaelic team in 2023. After experiencing the impact of rehabilitation first-hand through her own sporting injury, Katy knew physiotherapy was her calling and is passionate about empowering patients and watching them progress to achieve goals they didn't think possible.
