Marley is an enthusiastic and versatile physiotherapist with a Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy), working across vocational rehabilitation with Active Health NZ and musculoskeletal physiotherapy at Active Health Waikato.
She has a genuine love for variety in her work, specialising across paediatrics, sport, and vocational rehab - always tailoring treatment and goals to what genuinely matters to each person and fits their lifestyle.
With a strong sporting background and extensive experience working with children, Marley was drawn to physiotherapy as a way to combine her love of movement with helping people of all ages stay active and keep progressing. Barry is a newly graduated Physiotherapist who completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy with honours from Wintec after deciding on a career change. During his studies, he gained valuable experience as a Physiotherapy Assistant at Waikato Hospital across Cardio-Respiratory, Oncology, Orthopaedics, Acute care, and Rehabilitation departments. A former competitive athlete who represented New Zealand in athletics specialising in sprints, long jump, and hurdles, Barry transitioned to indoor netball and basketball and still competes today, having played for Waikato Tainui and winning gold in both Mixed grade and Men's grade at the 2024 masters nationals. In his spare time, Barry is an experienced netball coach who loves spending time with his family, playing board games, and has recently discovered his passion for growing house plants, bringing his athletic background and diverse healthcare experience to his physiotherapy practice. Hayley is a dedicated Physiotherapist who joined Active Health in October 2022 after completing her studies at University of Otago School of Physiotherapy in 2020. She has gained valuable experience in musculoskeletal, aged care, post-operative orthopaedics and cardiac physiotherapy at a Hamilton clinic, while completing additional training in Women's health and reformer Pilates. Growing up playing football and being exposed to the benefits of physical activity, Hayley developed her passion for physiotherapy after spending time with a physiotherapist during her adolescent years and now has keen interests in Women's health and adolescent athletes. She enjoys empowering clients of all ages during their injury rehabilitation to manage and return to their full function, while staying active in her spare time teaching reformer Pilates and hosting a run club with FEMMI.
