Rebecca is a newly graduated Physiotherapist from Ulster University in Northern Ireland who recently joined Active Health after backpacking through Southeast Asia for 14 weeks. Growing up in a 'rugby mad' household, Rebecca developed a passion for sport and injury rehabilitation, playing hockey since age eight and representing at school, university and county level. After experiencing her own injury during a hockey tour in Amsterdam and discovering the importance of functional rehabilitation, she realised physiotherapy was her calling and pursued her Bachelor of Physiotherapy. From a small county in Ireland, Rebecca loves to travel and is excited to explore the Waikato and New Zealand during her time here, bringing her enthusiasm for sports rehabilitation and fresh perspective to client care.
