Angela graduated from Otago University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 1996 + has since gone on to complete post graduate qualifications in both Sports Medicine and Acupuncture. She has over 15 years’ experience in private practice, with a further six years in a variety of orthopaedic roles while living in the UK.
Angela enjoys the challenge of managing all musculoskeletal injuries. She has a keen interest in lower limb biomechanics + pelvic stability, and uses a combination of manual therapy and movement and muscle balance assessment tools, to aid recovery and improve performance. She frequently attends seminars + conferences to enhance her knowledge and skills.
She has worked with many sports in a range of environments, including the South African netball team, a world masters hockey tournament, and speed skating world cup events in Italy + Russia. But by far the sport she’s spent the greatest time on the side-line is rugby, working with both men’s and women’s, from weekend warriors to rep teams, including seven seasons the with Canterbury Women’s 15s and 7s teamsView details »
