Snow-chaser Hilary started out her career working throughout Europe, NZ and Canada as a Ski Technician. Here was where she was introduced to the mechanics of the human body, as she used biomechanics to customise ski boots to fit each individual client. In 2009, Hilary returned to her hometown Brighton, to study at the University of Brighton where she gained a BSc (Hons)Physiotherapy degree. Since qualifying, Hilary worked as a rotational Physiotherapist for the NHS and after finding her passion for MSK physio with a sports focus, became the lead physiotherapist at local rugby club, Hove RFC. She continues to work closely with a variety of sports, working with teams and individuals. This involves pitch-side management, rehab post injury and on-going strength and conditioning programmes. Hilary has completed a number of additional qualifications to enhance her practice, including experience with hydrotherapy. Dougal kicked off his career in the US, working in a wide variety of physio settings whilst going to Cubs games and visiting all 50 states. This was followed by 5 years in the UK, during which he spent 3 years running a physio clinic on the Isle of Wight with Hannah. He then came to Queenstown for a ski season and has lived and skied here ever since. Dougal became a Director of Back on Track Physiotherapy in 2005 and greatly enjoys treating the diverse range of energetic Queenstowners and their variety of injuries, specialising in spinal manipulation and back/neck injuries. Jordan grew up on a sheep & cropping farm located in the wheat belt region of Western Australia. Jordan moved to Perth to further his education and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from Curtin University in 2013. Jordan was the Principal Physiotherapist and director for a well-established physiotherapy clinic in Perth for over 5 years. Jordan has recently moved permanently to Queenstown with his wife and can’t wait to get involved with the local community. Jordan has previously worked in the rural setting in Western Australia exposing him to a variety of clinical presentations that significantly developed his clinical reasoning resulting in outstanding results for his patients. Jordan’s main passion is sports and he has significant sports physiotherapy experience. He looked after Team Canada and Team USA during their International Ice Hockey tour, the Sydney Blue Sox Baseball Team and he has also worked with various tennis and AFL clubs. Jordan has also worked extensively in pre and postoperative rehabilitation at Bethesda hospital with Perth’s best Orthopaedic specialists. This is in addition to his vast experience treating chronic musculoskeletal pain and acute back, knee and shoulder pain. Jordan loves providing quality physiotherapy to the local community. In his spare time, Jordan loves to play the piano, try new restaurants, travel the world, play tennis, snowboard and spend as much time outside in nature. He successfully completed the 2013 and 2016 Rottnest Channel Swims and is an avid runner, having completed a few ultramarathons. View details »
