Jordan grew up on a farm in Western Australia. He studied physiotherapy at Curtin university and now has over 10 years' experience. Jordan was the Principal Physiotherapist and Director for a well-established sports physiotherapy clinic prior to moving to Queenstown.
Jordan’s main passion is sports, and he has significant sports physiotherapy experience. He looked after Team Canada and Team USA during their International Ice Hockey tour the Sydney Blue Sox Baseball Team and he has also worked with various tennis and AFL clubs. Jordan now looks after the local Wakatipu rugby team alongside Dougal.
Jordan has also worked extensively in postoperative rehabilitation with Perth’s best Orthopaedic specialists. Jordan is an expert at treating vertigo having specialized in this field. Jordan loves providing quality physiotherapy to the local community and getting involved with local clubs. He is a member of the Queenstown tennis club & Queenstown Bombers AFL club.
In his spare time, Jordan loves to play the piano, tennis, travel the world, snowboard, and spend as much time outside in nature. He successfully completed the 2013 and 2016 21km open water Rottnest Channel Swims and is an avid runner, having completed multiple ultramarathons and podiumed at the South Island Ultra Marathon. Aine studied both my BSc and MSc in Sports Medicine in Belfast, Northern Ireland and lived there for another 2 years working across a variety of sports, but predominantly in professional rugby. It was here that her passion for high perfoirmance, treating sporting injuries and optimising health really took off. She moved to New Zealand in 2019 and has been mostly based in Mount Maunganui during this time. She returned to Ireland last year, working with the Ireland Womens Rugby team and has arrived back to NZ in time for the winter season. Since coming to New Zealand, she has become a keen hiker, surfer, runner and pilates instructor. She enjoys an active lifestyle and is keen to learn to snowboard this winter season in Queenstown. Amy is from Northern Ireland and holds a MSc (Merit) in Physiotherapy from Teesside University alongside a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Glasgow. Working in the UK upon qualifying, she worked both in private practice and completed her core rotations in the NHS before her love of sports brought her to Queenstown where she has worked in private practice since 2020.
Amy is a qualified Ski instructor and taught in Whistler for two seasons. She regularly competes in ultra running and mountain biking events, alongside playing Gaelic Football and Ice Hockey with local teams. She is a certified APPI Pilates instructor and enjoys using Pilates with patients to ease pain, decrease injury risk and improve sporting performance.
