Cam is excited to be returning to Auckland after working the last 2 years overseas as Lead Physiotherapist for the Chinese National Women’s Hockey Team culminating in their qualification for the Tokyo Olympics. He is a highly skilled physiotherapist who graduated in 1999 from Otago University and completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Musculoskeletal Therapy through Otago University in 2011. He has advanced skills in working with children with developmental conditions, youth sporting injuries, and he has honed his skills in taping techniques and dry needling. Cam lectures in taping (rigid and kinesiology) for several teaching institutions. Having been exclusively in a professional high performance elite level environment over recent times he looks forward to treating his patients with the exact same level of care.
Clinical Interests
Over Cam’s 20 year career he has developed a keen interest and expertise in several areas including working with shoulder injuries (particularly post – surgery) and lower limb injuries (ankle and knee). This complements his interest in shoe technology and an appreciation of movement efficiency in the prevention of lower limb injuries. Most recently Cam has been working alongside some world – class strength and conditioning coaches and this has been a great opportunity to learn from the best and add to his already considerable knowledge of training techniques and methodology.View details »
