Having competed internationally as a gymnast, Alexy developed a deep interest and appreciation for the human body. Pursuing a career in physiotherapy has allowed him to explore his curiosity surrounding rehabilitation and performance. His interests lie in movement and exercise-based therapy, aiming to educate and guide people through their own self-management. He is passionate about providing evidence-based practice and is committed to fostering a patient-centred environment. He sees the importance of well-being and aims to help his patients become the best version of themselves. Alexy has provided pitch-side and clinic-based sports physiotherapy for local rugby clubs and is now working with the St Bedes 1XV. Outside of the clinic, you will find him in the gym, playing a variety of social sports or on the golf course. He enjoys getting involved in all things active, with a particular interest in combat sports. View details »

I worked in the NHS in the UK for 2 years after qualifying, rotating through a broad range of inpatient and outpatient specialties. These included musculoskeletal outpatients, hand therapy, neurology, paediatrics, trauma and orthopaedics, and general medicine. I moved to Christchurch in October 2024 and have been working here ever since. I have experience working for a club rugby team in Wales and supporting local teams in Christchurch.
