Jean completed his Masters in Osteopathy at the European School of Osteopathy in England. He has practiced in both Whangarei and his hometown of Paris, France. He returned to Whangarei from France with his kiwi wife and young daughter in 2018 with a vision to set up a multi-disciplinary practice- and so Le Pont (the bridge) clinic was born.
Jean enjoys the diversity of practice that osteopathy offers, and the continual inspiration provided by the human body’s ability to adapt and heal. His passion for osteopathy began after experiencing the benefits of osteopathic treatment as a child.
He is constantly developing and refining is osteopathic approach, which encompasses cranial, structural, visceral, and biodynamic techniques. Steve trained at the European School of Osteopathy in England, renowned for its strong Cranial focused style, graduating in 2006.
As well as in private practice in Oxford, Steve also worked as Senior Lecturer in Osteopathy and Clinical Tutor at Oxford Brookes University before moving to Whangarei in 2012.
Steve has a particular interest in functional biomechanics and functional rehabilitation after also completing a post graduate masters Diploma in Sport & Exercise Rehabilitation at St Mary’s University College, London.
Steve utilises a broad blend of techniques including Classical and Cranial osteopathy through to structural and deep myofascial work, drawing from a past life in sports massage therapy. Treatments are an integrated fusion of all these experiences and tailored to meet each individual patient’s needs applying Osteopathic principles and philosophies of health and wellness.

Becky graduated with a Masters Degree in Osteopathy from European School of Osteopathy (ESO) in the UK. Since then, she has worked in Melbourne, 3 years in Whangarei, and a brief period in windy Wellington. After travelling the two islands, she has found her way back North.
She has completed post graduate studies in visceral and cranial osteopathy, and uses a wide range of techniques from gentle to stronger articulations to best support the body’s needs. She believes in being curious to address the root holding patterns to create longer term changes.
As well as treating headaches, neck and back pain, Becky has a special interest in digestive and pelvic issues, such as reflux and constipation. She enjoys working with people of different occupations and all ages, including pregnant women, babies and children, through their various changes and growth.
She often feels humbled by the intelligence and the mysteries of the body. She is grateful to be in a position to support your journey to health and awareness, and to learn with every person.
In her free time, Becky is found reading, gardening, and exploring the bush, while trying to refine her bowdrill fire technique and her palate to enjoy wild edible plants! View details »
