Aimee is an osteopath trained in New Zealand, graduating with her masters in 2013. She has worked around the North Island, as well as here in Whangarei, before having kids and settling on the south side of town.
She prides herself on understanding how the body works as a whole, and how structures are related and affected when injury or disfunction occur. Aimee utilises a wide range of treatment techniques, tailored to the individual condition, only applying the appropriate amount of pressure according to the needs of the individual.
Aimee feels osteopaths utilise a philosophy different to other manual therapists, aiming to treat the person, rather than the condition they present with. As bio-mechanical experts, osteopaths can see subtle patterns that hinder the body working as efficiently as it could be. Aimee enjoys removing the barriers which stand in the way of a comfortable life. And though she loves getting to know her patients, she wants to get them better as fast as possible. View details »
