Miss Becky Lai

Miss Becky Lai

Osteopath

Becky graduated with a Masters Degree in Osteopathy from European School of Osteopathy (ESO) in the UK. Since then, she has worked in Melbourne, 3 years in Whangarei, and a brief period in windy Wellington. After travelling the two islands, she has found her way back North. She has completed post graduate studies in visceral and cranial osteopathy, and uses a wide range of techniques from gentle to stronger articulations to best support the body’s needs. She believes in being curious to address the root holding patterns to create longer term changes. As well as treating headaches, neck and back pain, Becky has a special interest in digestive and pelvic issues, such as reflux and constipation. She enjoys working with people of different occupations and all ages, including pregnant women, babies and children, through their various changes and growth. She often feels humbled by the intelligence and the mysteries of the body. She is grateful to be in a position to support your journey to health and awareness, and to learn with every person. In her free time, Becky is found reading, gardening, and exploring the bush, while trying to refine her bowdrill fire technique and her palate to enjoy wild edible plants! View details »

Miss Aimee Moore

Miss Aimee Moore

Osteopath

Aimee is an osteopath trained in New Zealand, graduating with her masters in 2013. She has worked around the North Island, as well as here in Whangarei, before having kids and settling on the south side of town. She prides herself on understanding how the body works as a whole, and how structures are related and affected when injury or disfunction occur. Aimee utilises a wide range of treatment techniques, tailored to the individual condition, only applying the appropriate amount of pressure according to the needs of the individual. Aimee feels osteopaths utilise a philosophy different to other manual therapists, aiming to treat the person, rather than the condition they present with. As bio-mechanical experts, osteopaths can see subtle patterns that hinder the body working as efficiently as it could be. Aimee enjoys removing the barriers which stand in the way of a comfortable life. And though she loves getting to know her patients, she wants to get them better as fast as possible. View details »
