Marisa brings a strong background in high-performance sport to her work as a physiotherapist. She has competed in football at both national and international levels and currently plays professionally for the Wellington Phoenix. Having recently returned to elite competition following an ACL injury, Marisa has firsthand experience of the physical and mental demands of rehabilitation and long-term performance.
She is passionate about integrating her experience in elite sport with evidence-based physiotherapy.
Marisa completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at AUT in 2024 and has a strong interest in exercise-based rehabilitation, post-operative recovery, and strength and conditioning.
