Originally from India, Vaishak graduated from Kerala University of Health Sciences with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2016. Vaishak worked for 3 years in a range of settings which included musculoskeletal/ post operative rehabilitation, neuro-paediatric rehabilitation and adult neurorehabilitation. Vaishak is passionate about making rehabilitation specific to each patient’s needs and goals using biomechanical principles. Vaishak’s primary areas of interest are shoulder pain, low back pain, knee pain, Stroke, Spinal Cord Injury and Traumatic Brain Injury. Vaishak migrated to New Zealand in 2019 and continued his health care career in Auckland at Middlemore Hospital in Spinal and Ortho Department. During this time, he furthered his studies completing his postgraduate in Wellness and Rehabilitation from Southern Institute of Technology.
