Vijaya has a wealth of clinical and management experience in both private and public (NZ DHB equivalent) health sectors in South Africa. Following graduating, Vijaya spent one and half years in the public sector thereafter moving to a very well-established private practice at the largest private hospital in Durban.
Vijaya has vast experience with respiratory illness, orthopaedic surgery, acute neurological and multi-illness patients. She has 18 years’ experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy with a particular interest in neck and back pain as well as in headache management.
Vijaya is a mother of two beautiful girls and likes to balance her family life with her work to find the perfect level. Her family has recently relocated to New Zealand with her husband and their girls and are excited about exploring this beautiful country together.
