Nivaar qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2011 in South Africa. For the last 9 years Nivaar has
worked in a busy private practice which provides in and outpatient care for 3 major hospitals
in Durban.
Nivaar’s main areas of experience and interest have been in physical therapy associated with
surgery, orthopaedics, sports injuries and rehabilitation. He has completed several post
graduate short courses including that of Orthopaedic Manipulative Physiotherapy Group

Shantal is a NZ Registered Physiotherapist and ACC-endorsed provider with a B.Sc. in Physiotherapy and over 26 years of experience. She has held senior physiotherapy roles in both clinical and management capacities across South Africa and New Zealand, working in private practice, hospital settings, post-surgical rehabilitation, community-based care, and high-performance sport environments.
Her areas of expertise include musculoskeletal physiotherapy, concussion rehabilitation, pain management, vocational and social rehabilitation, early intervention, and sports rehab. Shantal uses a biopsychosocial approach, integrating manual therapy, exercise prescription, education, and evidence-informed practice to support long-term recovery and empower clients to take control of their health.
