Cam is born and bred in Christchurch. He is passionate about sport and getting people back to their active lifestyles or helping implement activity in peoples lives. He competed competitively at a national level for over 14 years in swimming and has had the opportunity to work with many swim clubs in Christchurch over the past few years. Cam is dedicated to getting the most out of his athletes and can do this on a injury treatment, prevention or a strength and conditioning capacity. He has done post graduate courses on shoulder treatment/prevention under Angela Cadogan, Dry needling and McKenzie. Cam has worked with multiple rugby teams as a side line physio both in Dunedin and Christchurch. His special interest areas are shoulders, ACL/knee injuries and getting people in the community into an activity or sport they can love. He is passionate about getting you back to where you want to be and can understand the frustrations of being injured weeks out from a big event. Mya graduated from the Auckland University of Technology (AUT) in 2023 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Her diverse placements reinforced the importance of patient’s health literacy, whereby educating the patient effectively about their diagnosis, treatment and support options is a core focus of Mya’s. Mya’s experience competing at a high-performance level in triathlons, swimming and athletics, is one of the main contributing factors for choosing physiotherapy as a career, but Mya also has a passion for helping people return to activities they love to do and remain active.
