Miss Briar Petrie

Miss Briar Petrie

Physiotherapist

I graduated in 2023 from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Growing up in coastal Mount Maunganui of the North Island, I am used to making the most of what our great New Zealand landscapes have to offer. Through my passion for wellbeing, I have seen the far reaching benefits of optimising physical health and have long been a keen runner. Since moving south for University, I have furthered this by exploring the mountains through skiing and hiking on the weekends. It is clear to me that a broad approach to physical health is optimal so I enjoy regular yoga and pilates. I have a real enthusiasm for musculoskeletal health and working with a diverse range of people. In particular, I see great value in the holistic treatment of the individual - aiming to see the ‘bigger picture’ of an injury additional to the biomechanics. I cherish making memorable experiences for my patients, ultimately striving to return them to what they love. View details »

Mr David Clark

Mr David Clark

Physiotherapist

David graduated from the University of Otago in 2020. David's enjoyment of Physiotherapy stems from his desire to help people return to their baseline level of function after injury, and often beyond this. His drive to achieve the best possible outcomes for his clients has seen him undergo a post-graduate Certificate in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy. David has a wealth of musculoskeletal experience, most recently being overseas in Bristol at a private clinic. While in the UK, he was also the lead Physiotherapist for the Bristol University Rugby team. Prior to this, David worked with the Shirley Vikings and Oxford Rugby clubs when living in Christchurch. When he is not working, you will probably find him surfing, or enjoying the array of golf courses the Christchurch has to offer. He also likes to keep active by running and going to the gym. Otherwise, he will be spending time with his friends and family. View details »
